Waukesha Landscaping Transforms Backyard Into Tranquil Oasis
This idyllic backyard oasis near downtown Waukesha is the result of the homeowner’s inspiration and our imagination. With a lot of perspiration thrown in to get the job done!
It all started with the homeowner’s idea to have a gazebo put in his back yard. After discussing his plan with our landscapers, we visited the property to get a better idea of what would be possible. Our carpenters built a beautiful gazebo out of redwood and situated it atop a brick patio we built using a basket weave pattern.
From there the whole project mushroomed into the lovely oasis you see here.
Using large limestone slabs, we built a flight of steps going to an elevated garden area in the back of the lot. Directly in front of the gazebo, we created a retaining wall around a planting area where the homeowner intends to cultivate a fern garden (photo shows this space before the weeds were pulled out and the ferns went in).
Far in the back, you can just make out the top spire of a beautiful water fountain, which we engineered to use reclaimed water from rainfall.
