Pergola and Privacy Screen Project for Wauwatosa Home
This project was actually a trifecta of alliteration consisting of a painted pergola, patio with privacy fence, and plants. And, of course, it turned out perfectly!
Background: The back yard of this home faces south and has neighboring houses in close proximity. The homeowners never felt comfortable under the scorching sun and prying eyes of neighbors. They hired us to transform their backyard into a place where they'd actually want to spend time.
We started with the stone patio and privacy fence--a very affordable trellis fence. A fast-growing ivy filled in the trellis almost entirely within one growing season. We also added the landscaping and lighting around the patio.
Result: Where there was once a bare back yard, there’s now a shaded oasis.
